Self-Worth

White, Dave. Sell Yourself. July 1, 2024, Dave White Illustrations.

Lately, I feel worthless.
I needed to find some value in me,
So I sold what I had
For little a fee.

My eyes for a penny
I sold to some fools,
They’re blind and useless,
Mistook for jewels.

My lips for a nickel
To the sweetest sin,
So they’ll know the love
That has never been.

My ears for a dime
I sold to a lover.
To hear sweet nothings,
And silence uncover.

My hands for a quarter
I sold to a ghost,
So that she might feel
What I’ve wanted the most.

Finally my bones for a dollar
I sold to the earth,
But as for my soul-
There was found no worth.

Anyone tried aaajili2 yet? Saw some ads for it. Looks like a decent enough platform, but I always try things out myself first before committing. Let me know what you think. aaajili2

Heard about the 18jlappdownload app. Supposedly, it’s got a good range of features but do your research before downloading anything, yeah? Just saying. 18jlappdownload

Alright, so I stumbled upon 111bets the other day. Interface is clean, and they seem to have a lot of different betting options. Worth checking out maybe you’ll find something you like. 111bets

    The Fleeting Peace of Morning

In The Fleeting Peace of Morning, the world awakens in quiet grace. The sun stretches over trees, birdsong fills the still air, and silence reigns. Yet, this calm is fleeting—soon overtaken by the chaos of day and the unknown whispers of night, where peace becomes only a memory.

    I Guess…

A raw, reflective poem on grief, numbness, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going. “I Guess…” weaves despair and resilience into rhymed verses, showing how poetry becomes a bridge between pain and hope. It speaks to silent scars, survival, and the courage to keep loving despite loss.

The Inheritance of Silence: From Page to Screen

The Inheritance of Silence lives on not only as a short story but now as a video adaptation. This reimagining transforms silence into visual poetry, carrying forward its themes of inheritance, trauma, and memory. The video breathes motion into words, giving silence a new voice that lingers beyond the page.
